spill over in the rainy season through the property. You will see its beauty when you see the slides.

PUT A SMILE ON OUR FACES!

PUNCHI MUTHU LADHARU PIYASA

'Punchi Muthu Ladharu Piyasa' is Sinhala for 'The Home for Little Pearls'.

This pre-school is a mercy work of Mission Rainbow along with and partners. This work was initiated in 2005 to help the tsunami affected children in and around the Netolpitiya village in Tangalle.

We have 50 children from the ages of 2 to 5 years attending this school. To this day we still have many children from tsunami affected families who seek us out. In addition to this the school also makes itself available to the very poor and needy children in the area.

As a result we have so many applicants making it difficult to choose and even harder to make rejections for deserving children due to a restriction in the number of students we are capable of accommodating in terms of space, teacher ratio and expenses.

The group of children are very special. Each and every child has a special gifting and they are encouraged to develop these gifts. Our desire is that they will all go on to better and more fulfilling lives. We want them to be all they can be and we are continuously seeking better ways of improving their livelihood.
