We want to build:
- a few houses to look after some tsunami effected children in 'family-size' units.
- a home for the aged
- a Women's empowerment centre
- 10 house for the tsunami affected and very poor
- a camp site / retreat center for 200 as the Church dose not have such facility in the South.
An essential part of the project is that all running costs will be provided through revenue-earning activities. We already have rice-growing and vegetable and fruit farming in place and we expect the basic project to be self-supporting by January, 2008. However, there are many aspects of the project which require donations to launch - both on the mercy side as well as the revenue-earning activities.
