Strengthened the existing Church in spirituality.

Mission Rainbow team visited the Tsunami affected area and show the love of Christ who have really in need of affection and prayer. They spend their valuable time and huge of amount of money to visit such areas and incarnate and identify with the victims to strengthen their spiritual life and also show the Christian fellowship.
Mission Rainbow Also invited number of missionaries from aboard and organized revival meetings, healing services to warm the spiritual life of belivers and many of them received power of holy sprit and healed. This was a tremendous encouragement to belivers, who were in distressed, helpless and spiritual thirst. All these spiritual meetings, seminars and bible studies have been helped the church in numerous ways to grow. We also thankful that most our meetings were sponsored by the mission rainbow.

We have received electric organ and octopad to enrich the worship and to use for  the open air meetings.

Supplied relief items.

This was shared among 480 families who are in different places. Actually this relief help went up to verugal area and met their need. This help also carried long way in our mission work.

Support Given to orphanages.

Trincomalee Boys& nilaveli girls’ orphanages were helped in a tremendous way. Mission Rainbow found some sponsorship for Tsunami victims’ children, iron trunks given to girls’ home and financial support was given to the up stair building of the boys’ home Trincomalee. All these helps has played vital role in the life of orphans. The new up stair building has come up to the roof level, all the exterior plastering working is on the way. But whatever money was allocated for this building not enough for to do concrete flooring, wiring, painting and electrical fittings due to the increase of building materials, mason& labour Actually we are in need of Rs 3,87,000 to finish the balance work. All these exterior and interior plastering work will be finished with in this  week.
