A wave struck with such ferocity that it brought in death, darkness, distress and despair. But in the midst of this catastrophe God has called us to display the manifold grace of God. The Greek word translated “manifold” can also mean “multi-colored”. Our vision is to spread the glorious light of God’s Grace, diffused in the complete and vivid spectrum of its rainbow-colored richness among all those affected by the Tsunami tidal wave. To be an Arch in the midst of a flood so that lives may be saved.

Restoration – This is the Biblical basis on which we serve, as God has promised to “Comfort all waste places”. It is interesting that the Hebrew meaning of Comfort is the operation of “giving breathing space to crushed ribs”. This will be the prime aim of Mission Rainbow – to give breathing space to people immaterial of cast, creed or color of course serving the Church, the house hold of faith first.

Serving the traumatized people so that the grace of God can be displayed through works of love viz: temporary aid to meet the immediate needs and long term planning of reconstruction of houses and children’s center to care and nurture them so that they can be restored into full vitality of life to enjoy life as they were created to be.

Being available to Church Pastors and Leaders, so that through training, sharing of resources and Pastoral care they will be equipped to serve the people with maximum fruitfulness and effect.

Doing all things in partnership with one another by the power of the Holy Spirit.
